Stephen McKeon is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Oregon, where he focuses on cryptoassets, security issuance, and M&A. His work has been published in top finance journals, and widely quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and NY Times. His professional experience includes six years as a chief financial officer and involvement with several venture backed start-up firms as an employee, co-founder, and board director.  Prof. McKeon teaches valuation, FinTech, and venture capital at U Oregon and blockchain regulation at UC Berkeley.
